The Claiming Angel

You asked for an angel
She came wearing wings,
Adorned with beautiful memories
and sensual things.

She reunited you
with your lost love,
Your long lost angel,
Floating down from above.

With her in your sight
Your moments of longing were lost,
Like the first sight of Spring
The loss of frost.

You embraced in a hug
Her warmth flowing through,
You knew at that moment--
It's just her and you.

Together you floated
High on a cloud,
Loving and Laughing
Together out loud.

Your angel claimed you back
After losses broke you apart,
But sweetie you're happy now,
I can free you from my heart.
